Loft - Hi Eco Hostel - Reykjavik

As a traveler attending a festival, I had an exceptional experience at Loft-Hi. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and even helped me book tours. The room was clean and environmentally friendly. The hotel's location in the city center was convenient, and the kitchen was a great amenity. I especially loved the free items left by other travelers and the easy access to public transportation.

Lastly, the rooms offer breathtaking views, especially from the Loft Balcony Bar, and the breakfast provided is a delicious start to the day.

No negative aspects - everything was great!

This hostel is perfectly located, just a 5-minute walk from popular attractions like Harpa and Hallgrimskirkja. The Main Street location is super convenient for exploring the downtown area. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, with shelves, lights, and power at each bed. The staff are friendly and the communal spaces are inviting, like the upstairs lounge and rooftop seating area.

The noise at night can be a bit problematic, but they do provide earplugs at reception.

I loved that this hotel is located right in the center of the main shopping street in Reykjavik. It was so convenient to have all the bars and attractions within close proximity. The staff were incredibly attentive and the basic amenities provided, such as personal sockets in the rooms and a bathroom, were great. I also really enjoyed the breakfast offered, it was a nice touch.

Only one small issue, the hotel could provide more information about the safe in the room. But overall, everything was ok.

We loved the central location of the hostel, just a short walk to the harbor and Hallgrimskirkja church. The rooftop patio was a fun place to hang out during happy hour. The dorms were comfortable and having lockers under the beds was a plus. Overall I'd recommend this hostel for its convenient location and relaxed atmosphere.

The basic amenities in the large, well-equipped rooms, including the large bathrooms, are suitable for the more mature traveler. The staff are very nice and provide excellent service.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was great to my needs. The hotel facilities, including the lounge, bar, and kitchen areas, were great and very well-maintained. The location was also perfect, as it was close to the supermarket and main street. Plus, the bed mattress was so comfy, and the room had its own bathroom.
